Attention! Oh that worked 

Hello, I am Lachlan Haycock 

There are many different ways to lead, for me, sport has helped me be determined 

yet a quiet achiever and I aways enjoy helping and encouraging others when they need it

Through my sport I am learning more about being a leader and in one sport that I have learnt the importance of this is cycling, last year I explored this new sport and achieved many things, one of the main things I achieved was learning how important communication is, in a cycling team communication is the key to a teams success      

 as you need to constantly talk to your team, whether you are speeding up or going around a corner, the goal is to get the whole team over the finish line.    

Communication is the key and as house leader we need to communicate with the whole school 

   

I am responsible and reliable and can be trusted to do a job to my best ability, I enjoy working and talking to others and enjoy having convivial conversation with teachers and parents in and out of school 

I have a great sense of humor and enjoy a good laugh with my friends   

     

  

If I have the privilege to be Rimu house leader I would encourage everybody in Rimu to Participate in at least three sporting events that Tauranga Intermediate school has to offer through out the year, I also would like to help our teachers with our goal, to win the spirit trophy. I have another goal, lets all be  -   the best we can be  -   it maybe in class doing a test or out of the field playing sport, or contributing to a school goal,  

  

We the Red Army can work together as a team and battle for the Spirit Trophy.

My first post

In my first month at school I got into a lot of sports and I have got House Leader. Every day we either go for a run, do Zomba or do Kenpo. In maths I have learnt about BEDMAS and Order of Operation.
Because I am House Leader I have to Lead the chant we do and this is how it goes:

Leader: Attention!!
Leader: Sound off

29, 30, 41, 42.

Don't wait, don't hesitate, the battle has begun,
Computate and dominate, RIMU are number 1,
We got it together,
We're moving to the top,
Rimus Red Army, impossible to stop.

School this year is looking very promising!
